My daughter thinks I'm making her little brooms to sweep the floor with! The rosemary in particular does look like a doll's broom, so I can only admire her imagination.

It is really easy to dry herbs:
Cut some nice healthy handfuls of herbs
Tie them together with string and add a loop to hang the bunch from
Hang them upside down until they go crispy (takes a couple of days)
The only thing to remember is not to put them in a storage jar until completely dry to prevent mould. I read that you can dry herbs in the oven, but that sounds like hard work and I think that slowly air drying might preserve more of the flavour. Plus I like the way the bunches look, hanging in my windows - despite what my neighbours might think of me.
